Via the participant module -> finances -> cancellation conditions you can set your cancellation conditions.
Via the 'Edit' button you can set the cancellation fee or precentage.
The 'Cancellation Conditions' tab of the participant finances page allows to you set up your cancellation periods and cancellation fee amounts. This can either be configured as a fixed amount or as a percentage of the registration fee.
In order to configure your cancellation conditions, first click the 'Edit' button at the top of the page.
At the top of the edit page, first choose between a fixed fee or a percentage, select your desired number of cancellation periods and appy a VAT rate.
Depending on the number of chosen periods, multiple sections will appear allowing you to configure either a fixed price or a percentage, along with an associated date. The price or the percentage you have configured will apply until the chosen date is reached. Once said date has been reached, either the next fee or the full fee will apply.
Finally, at the bottom of the screen, you can determine the start date of the full fee period. If you have chosen zero periods, this date can be entered manually. Otherwise, this date will automatically be filled in with the date of your last period.
When you cancel a participant, the cancellation fee will automatically be filled in with the data of your conditions. If you change the date of cancellation, the system will automatically detect the correct period and prefill the fee again.
Of course you are always free to overrule the fee if you want to.
