In the menu bar, go to ‘Module Content’. Choose the tab 'Accompanying Persons'. There, you will find all PA-events you want to set up or have already set up.
After clicking on a PA-event, you can see general information about the PA-event.

If you click just below one of the 3 texts, 'Upper text', 'Title' or 'Lower text', you can add/edit the corresponding text.

Periods & prices
Number of periods
Create a maximum of three different payment periods, each with their own code, start date, end date and price. Depending on the date of the registration, the participant must pay the price from the relevant payment period. Please note that the registration types and the accompanying person events use the same number of periods and dates.
VAT rate
Select the rate you want to use (ony applicable if your congress uses VAT).
Period 1, period 2 (if applicable) and period 3 (if applicable)
Fill out all details, start date of this period, end date of this period, code (PA***), price (excl vat)

General settings
- Max per registration
By setting a maximum per registration, you can restrict the number of people that will accompany a participant to the congress. In this case, one participant can bring along 2 other people.
- Visibility
At the general settings you can choose or hide the event for the participant or group. You can also use an event for the PCO only.
- Exclude from invoices
This setting allows you to prevent a zero-charge event from appearing on any invoices.

Availability
By setting the availability, you can restrict the available number of PA-events. For example, by setting the number to 20, then only 20 extra persons can join the participants. In the case of the screenshot, there is no limit to the number of PA-events.

Categories
Finally, you can select to which category the PA-event is visible. In this example, only the category 'Speaker' can choose the PA-event and therefore take accompanying persons with them. (Only applicable if you have this extra module).

Via 'Extra columns' you can add 2 columns.
Via the gear icon in the right part of the screen, you can open a screen for more settings.

Event table alignment
You can align the prices to the right, center of left.

Only show accompanying persons in current period
This setting applies to both registration types and the accompanying person events.
When checked, only the prices of the registation types and accompanying persons events of the current period are shown. All other periods/prices are hidden.

Hide accompanying persons when maximum is reached
When your accompanying person events have a maximum number of registations and the maximum is reached, you can choose to hide the event by checking this box.

Text shown when maximum is reached
You can also choose to leave the event standing if it's full, but add a text that it's full.

Show formatted price for free accompanying person events
When this box is checked, the 0,00 price for the free events is shown, otherwise the price is hidden.

Hide accompanying person headers
To hide the headers of the registration types and accompanying person events, you have to check this box. This is useful if you only have 1 payment period or when you use the setting 'Only show registration types in current period'.

Custom accompanying person headers
You can also choose to create a custom header instead of the standard dates that are shown.
Via the gear icon in the right top of the screen -> Invoice settings
This setting allows you to prevent a zero-charge event from appearing on any invoices. All accompanying preson events without a price will be shown.

Via the gear icon in the right top of the screen -> Toggle upper & lower
By choosing the 'Change deadline' button, you can change the current deadline for all registration events and accompanying person events.
Use 'Preview setup' -> participant data to see how all events with the upper/lower texts etc. look like on the personal data page.
If you use categories at your congress, you can select the category at the top of the page to view all accompanying person events accociated with this category.
