Step 6: Styling the pages: Participant module status

When you setup your participant module, the status of the module is automatic in the test modus.

This means that after you setup the congress, you can test everything. Including really submitting participants and get the confirmation email.

When you tested all and are ready to make the registration active, all test participants will be deleted.

In the participant dashboard you can see the status of the module at the top of the page.

When you click on the button, the following screen appears to change the status.
Please note that once you select a different status than test, you can't return to the test modus.

•    ‘Test’: You can test the site. After changing the status, you can't go back to the test modus.

•    ‘Active’: Your participants can create a user name and password so they can view, enter, add or change their registration data until submitting.

•    ‘Register’: Only registered participants who already created a username and password can enter so they can view, add or change their registration data until submitting.

•    ‘View’: This means your participants may only view their registration data by logging in using their user name and password.

•    ‘Closed’: This is how you close the entire registration. No more user names and passwords can be requested and participants can no longer view, add or change their registration data.
