Step 3b: Styling the pages: Start registration page

The 'Start Registration Page' is only available when the 'Welcome Page' has been disabled, and is meant to prevent your congress from being filled with empty registrations, and bots from gaining access to your registration pages.

Once an individual clicks on your registration, category or marketing campaign link, they must first confirm that they wish to register by clicking the Continue button on this new page. Only after they have done so, a new registration will be made in their name.

Additionally, various techniques have been applied to try to detect activity from bots who may wish to abuse your registration website. Enabling this new page should drastically lower the chances of this happening.
