You can add 'Themes' via the tab on the 'Module content' page of the abstract module.
Here you can add, edit and delete your themes (only if they are not already in use).
Use the 'Add theme' button to add a theme
Use the 'Delete' button to remove your theme. You can only remove themes if they are not yet in use.
Use the 'Export' button at the top of the themes list to export all themes to an excel file.
To 'Import' new themes, click the button at the top of the themes list.
Here you can download and complete an excel template, which you can then upload to the system.
Once you have created your themes, you can use the 'Assign topics' button to link topics to your themes
If you use this button, you can add the theme to a topic via the pulldown menu behind each topic. This allows you to restrict the topics your authors can choose for their abstracts, based on which theme they have selected.
This also applies to the session proposals: abstracts added to closed proposals are automatically assigned the proposal's theme. Abstracts that submit themselves to an open session proposal, are also linked to this associated theme.
If you click on the topics linked to a theme, a new screen appears where you can check the boxes of the relevant topics.
If a topic is already used in an abstract or session proposal, you can no longer link it to a theme.
