Create Free selection items

A free selection item is a multiple choice checkbox field.
You can create 'Free selection items' via the module settings of the abstract module. This is where you set the answers your authors can choose from.

The following screenshot shows an example of what the author sees when he/she chooses from the options of the free selection items.
Of course you can change the title 'Free selection 1' via the page editor -> abstract wizard -> abstract data. Right click on the 'Free selection' 1 or 2.

To 'Import' new free selection items, click the button at the top of the free selections list.
Here you can download and complete an excel template, which you can then upload to the system.

Use the 'Download template' button to download the excel template to enter your free selection items.
Use 'Select file' to import the excel.

Use the 'Export' button at the top of the free selection items list to export all items.

You can delete a free selection item if it is not yet used by any abstracts. To do this, open the free selection item and click the red 'Delete' button.
