All authors will now make use of the same setup for the affiliations, whether they are a contact person, main author, or co-author.
A maximum of three affiliations can be added per author.
The affiliations can be ordered by dragging them in the desired order, where the first affiliation will serve as their primary affiliation.
The company, city and country fields can no longer be filled in individually. Instead they will be filled with the data of the primary affiliation.
Affiliations can be displayed in your emails and on your module websites. You can also choose to display all affiliations, or only the primary affiliation.
Affiliations will be displayed in your abstract and program book and you can choose how the numbers of the affiliations should be separated.
Affiliations can be shared across the entire abstract handling website, allowing contact persons to choose between any affiliation that was previously added to the system. If this option is not enabled, contact persons can only make use of the affiliations they created themselves, as was the case with the institutes.
A new 'Affiliations' tab has been added to the 'Abstract Module Settings', allowing you to set the maximum number of affiliations per author, whether to show the affiliations, whether to show only the primary affiliation and whether the affiliations can be shared with other authors.
