On the 'Standard emails and settings' page in the abstract module, you can make changes to the default system templates, setup your salutations, from & BCC, email styling, PDF styling and calendar items.
To view and configure one of these emails, click the 'View' button for the appropriate email.
When viewing an email you can perform one of the following actions:
- Click the 'Restore Default' button to remove the configuration and content of this email and restore to the default email.
- Click the 'Send Preview' button to send this email to one email address for one or more genders. With this you can send an email to yourself for testing purposes.
- Click the 'Edit' button to change the configuration and content of this email.
EMAILS
Abstract submission
This email is automatically sent to the contact person of the abstract after the registration has been submitted.
Author reminder
You can send a reminder email to the contact persons of non submitted abstracts to remind them to finish their submission.
Abstract withdrawal
This email can be sent to the contact person of an abstract to invite them to withdraw their abstract.
Invite author to participant
Send an email to the authors to invite them to the participant registration.
Password forgotten
Sent at the request of the contact person of an abstract to reset the login password.
Password reset confirmation
This email is automatically sent to the contact person of an abstract after the password has been reset.
OTHER
Personal message
The basis email for a personal message that can be sent to any contact person or (co-)author.
GRANT APPLICATION
Grant application invitation
This email is sent to the authors to invite them to submit their grant application.
Grant application confirmation
This email is automatically sent to the authors to confirm their grant application submission.
Grant application approved
This email can be sent to the authors to inform them that their grant application has been approved.
Grant application rejected
This email can be sent to the authors to inform them that their grant application has been rejected.
On the 'Salutations' tab you can set the salutation for the abstract module. Use the 'Restore default' button to change the salutations back to the default. These salutations are used when sending emails to your authors.
You can set up a separate salutation for each selected gender.
Two salutations require some explanation. 'Unknown' is used when no gender has been specified for the author and 'Neutral' is used when the gender for neutral has been selected.
On the 'From & BCC' tab you can check and change all From and BCC email addresses you use for this congress and module.
Click the 'Edit' button at the top of the page to make changes.
