Enable barcodes
If you want to use barcodes for your participants, you must enable the setting for this congress.
Please go to the participant dashboard -> module settings -> general and check the box at 'Use Barcodes'.
After you save your changes, the 'Show warnings' button will be visible on the participant dashboard.
The warning tells you that you still have to add barcodes to use them.
Add Barcodes
Via the module content -> barcodes you can add barcodes.
You can use the green 'Add barcode' button to add only one code.
Please note that the code must have a minimum length of 6 and can only contain the following characters: (A-Z 0-9 - $%./+)
By using the import button, you can download a template and add multiple barcodes.
If a new participant now registers, he/she will automatically get a barcode.
If you enable the barcodes while participants already submitted their registration, they need to be resubmitted to get a barcode as well.
You can see the participant's barcode in the bottom of the screen.
