Sometimes you want to give your participants different colored banners on their badge. For example to show that someone is a member, a student or a speaker. In the example below, we use the categories to add the colored banners.
Via 'Add text' at the top of the screen, you can add a text field.
In the following example we will add a purple banner for the 'Non member' category.
Use the pencil icon to edit the placeholder and add the text 'Non member'.
Click the 'Drop' icon in the top of the screen to change the background color.
With the purple background it is hard to read the text. Please use the 'Brush' icon to change the text color to white.
After changing the colors, you can set up the text format.
Use the bold, italic, underline, strikethrough and text case to format your text.
Use the align icon to align your text.
Now you have to add a 'Print when' to the new banner so it will only be printed when a participant has category 'Non member'. Right click on the new banner and choose 'Edit print-when conditions' from the menu. The next screen, 'Print when', appears.
Click the green 'Add conditions' button to add the following print when:
Category equals Non member
In the example we have several banners. You can easily adjust the size of the new banner so that it is the same size as the other banners. Right click on the new banner -> choose Match other object -> choose Same size and click on one of the other banners.
And your banner has the same size.
You can also easily move all banners to the same position as the green VIP banner. Select all other banners by dragging a square over all banners.
Then right click on the selected square and choose Match other object -> same position -> click the green VIP banner
All banners are now on the same position.
A preview shows that each participant gets his/her own banner, depending on the participant's category.
