Use layers
When you want to use different designs in your badge for different categories/types of participants, you can use layers.
The screenshot above shows all layers. We want to create one badge design for participants with workshops, one for particpants without workshops (they will get the same front and back of the badge) and one for accompanying persons (who will also get the same front and back of the badge).
Add a new layer
You can add a new layer by using the 'Add layer' button.
Layer 1
In the example layer 1 contains the front of the badge and the back for participants that have 1 or 2 workshops.
| In the screenshot layers 2 and 3 are hidden. You can easily hide/show a layer by clicking the eye icon. When you use layers in this way, you can easily show/hide the placeholders that can be groupped. |
Layer 2
The next layer contains the back of the badge.
As we only want to print this info for participants without workshops and for accompanying persons, we use a print when on all these placeholders, see the video.
Good to know:
You can drag/drop placeholders from one layer to another. Click the 3 grey stripes and drag it to another layer and drop it there.
