Step 4: Session proposal module status

When you setup your session proposal module, the status of the module is automatic in the test modus.
This means that once you have setup the module, you can test everything. Including really submitting session proposals and get the confirmation email.

When you tested all and are ready to make the registration active, all test proposers and proposals will be deleted.

In the session proposal dashboard you see in the top of the screen the status of the module.

When your module is still in the 'Test' mode, you have to use the link under 'Test link' to do all your tests.
When you click on the button, the following screen appears to change the status.
Please note that once you select a different status than test, you can't return to the test modus.

• Test: You can test the site. All submitted data will be removed once your site becomes active. After changing the status, you can't change it back to the test modus.

• Active: Your session proposers can create a user name and password so they can view, enter, add or change their registration data until submitting.

• View: This means your session proposers may only view their registration data by logging in using their user name and password.

• Closed: This is how you close the entire proposal registration. No more user names and passwords can be requested and proposers can no longer view, add or change their registration data.
